Do these first
The October 5 registration deadline for the November 3 election has passed. Check your registration status using the official links and contact your county registrar with questions about your record. Early voting is October 19–30; Election Day is November 3.
- Check your registration status: Texas Secretary of State — Am I Registered?. If the lookup does not load, use the official VoteTexas registration page for current links and county registrar contacts.
- General registration guidance for future elections and updates: Start with VoteTexas — official registration instructions. If you use the SOS new-registration application, print, sign, and mail or deliver the completed form to your county voter registrar as instructed. Filling out that form online alone does not complete registration. The official registration and update instructions also explain online name/address updates for existing voters and registration through qualifying DPS license or ID transactions.
