5 safety changes finished at South First and Radam Lane.

The City finished safety work at South First Street and Radam Lane, an intersection it had flagged as a high-crash location. It added wider sidewalk corners, high-visibility crosswalks, new ADA curb ramps, upgraded signals and timing, and wider sidewalks between Clifford Drive and Normandy Street. The 2020 Mobility Bonds paid for it. The City's Vision Zero analysis links similar major-intersection projects in Austin to a 38% drop in serious-injury and fatal crashes.
